Part-time Job, Saturday at the Farmers' Market
This is a part-time job, the essential part of which is helping us out at the Burlington Farmers Market for a few hours on Saturdays.
It should be someone who lives in or very close to Burlington.

Farmers' Market
The Farmers’ Market is an exciting place and actually being a part of it is a real thrill. You’ll be a part of building and designing the display each week at one of the most beautiful and plentiful Farm vendor stalls. Each week we completely build our stall and design a display based on the ever changing supply of in season products. The real work of the Market is an hour or so in the morning setting up(roughly 7:30 to 9am) and an hour knocking down at the end of the market (2 to 3pm). As you become more familiar with the products and process you could add some hours to Saturday.

Other work at the Farm
Helping at the Farmers Market is the minimum for this position, and we’d be very happy with someone who just wants to do the Farmers’ Market part. However, you could pick up some more time helping with field work and packing out at the Farm in Starksboro. All together you would be a part of the entire process from planting to selling.

Combine it with work on the Farm.
It could be combined with some field work and packing at the Farm in Starksboro. So subject to your availability and interest, it could range from just a couple of hours every Saturday, to as much as 20 hours a week.

Requirements:
• You must be available Saturdays from May through October.
• You must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Schedule:
• Minimum Availability: Saturdays 7:30 to 9am and 2 to 3pm.
• We work Monday through Saturday at the Farm and we could fit you in with the field work and packing almost any days. Mondays and Thursdays are very busy days and some help on those days would be very much appreciated.

Commitment to the Season:
You must be available Saturdays from May through October.

Compensation:
$16.95/hr and lots of free peak-season vegetables.
